ABOUT OUR STORE
WOW Dancewear has the comfortable feeling of a walk-in closet full of ballet pinks, bright colors, and basic blacks. We have shoes for every type of dance: tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, and hip hop to meet your studio dress code. Leotards, legwear, dance shorts, t-shirts, hair accessories, and great bags to lug it all, are yours in one great shopping experience.
Recognized for our pointe shoe fitting expertise, WOW Dancewear is sought out by pointe students of experience and those just beginning.
Meet the Team
WOW Dancewear opened its doors in 1990, originating in Worcester, MA as Work Out Wear-house. Our clientele, at that time, consisted of both dancers in traditional black and pink togs, and aerobic excercisers who wore bright colored leotards.
Decades later, the store's focus was strictly dance and gymnastics. Just prior to moving to nearby Auburn, MA in 2011, the name was shortened to WOW Dancewear.
